You know what’s great? Pictures where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera. You know what’s really great? Seeing kids’ personalities in every photo taken. And there was no shortage of personality this day! When a dear friend asked if we could do a session at an old mill still operated by her grandfather, I couldn’t think of a more fitting place. The notion of trying to get everyone to look in the same direction at the same time was quickly abandoned and we just went with it. I absolutely loved looking over the pictures, thinking of each child and seeing their individual personalities in each one. I think we all agreed that the end result was far better than perfect smiles and poses every time. Don’t you agree?
